i read once from a book, that what defines masculinity is actually 'kindness'.

i try. but to some people, this is not worth it, nor logical.

you can't show kindness to criminals repeating offense,

devoted on trying to destroy or use you.

 

by the way, not to entirely interpret kindness as compassion for masculinity,

but i think book meant kindness that supercedes ego and wins over oneself.

over primal desires. but kindness in general is an controlled emotion that is refined

to an understanding.

 

watch for feigned kindness.

watch for self-reasoned kindness.

that is deluded to oneself.

hard to detect, but you will know when kindness came with exploitation and malice.
