Took the whole day but localized issues with the laptop.

1. The flickering of the screen and going blank can be 'fixed' by applying strong pressure on the upper left corner. Meaning edp cable is loose, degraded, or a bad capacitor near the region.

2. trackpad and mousepointer cannot be detected at all with xinput. so the cables here are likely disconnected or degraded.

3. BSOD, so far has not appeared after removing windows and installing linux. It most likely
were caused by conflict in the eDP cable display, windows was detecting as display error. Not the board itself.

So, it is confirmed that 2/3 issues were hardware issues. Not driver issues.
I'm just lucky that it may not be a board issue as far as chipsets go. Then it can be repairable.

There is no way seller would not have known the issues. But say that he has. The moment told is the moment refund should have been present. These were indicators of serious issues. And it was clearly not in the ad.

Gaslighting, shifting accountability. But for monetary gain. Not sharing phone #, address, fake profile as alias. All indicators of fraud and abuse.
