Ok, to design the sea mining further,
I think I may have created a minimalistic approach.

01.png = As the segmented pillar is being dropped,
at the lowest of the level, there can be a line of interlocking cubes connecting to the pillar's
most bottom base.
This line will be as long as, how high the pillar is going to be.
This is to support the stability of the pillar. It will incrementally get shorter and shorter
as it reaches the top with the pillar in a slope. Just like the pyramid, but minimalistic.
As you can see, the line will expand from left to right, and perhaps even a 3rd line, if necessary.
02. png = after the pillar is built, and reaches the air, above sea-level,
there we can start using the empty portion of the tracks to drop down the walls.
But these walls can be very, very small by the surface area. So like a hollow tower.
It will be supported by the infinitely long 2-3 lines and the pillar it is supported by,
so the walls will not lose its stability. As compared to stability of the pillar,
which is supported by the lines, the hollow tower composed of these walls to be dropped,
is tiny.
It is just attaching itself as a small space.
03. png = When the walls are completed, the water can be drained from the hollow tower.
Then a drill can be descended down,
and once it drills to enough depth,
it can go side ways and whichever direction it needs to be to avoid the pressure of the water,
while getting the minerals back up to the surface going up the same hole it dugged.
The walls can contain inner tracks to send up and down an elevator to deposit the minerals.
All this process I believe can be done without needing an operator on-board.
No human needs to be sent down, I believe.
Though you can do that as well.
This should work just fine.

I see what is going on.
If the fucker is trying to steal following confessions of the previous,
then it must be trying to steal the interlocking cubes itself.
