Building on the launching a ship by massive explosion,

if smaller explosions from within the ship is possible without damaging the ship,

(which then would require dedicated area reinforced with certain thickness and design of materials)

WHILE accelerating in speed because of the first massive explosion,

the ship will incrementally gain in speed as well, on top of the first try.
