Mark's decisions do not reflect Adam's actions.

So they're not entirely in it together, and alongside the timeline of appropriate behavior during that time.

Main factor is when the authorities would have showed up or not.

Second, if this is about the A.I enhancement idea,

it is very simple in that, if my idea was anyone else's,

in public domain,

they would have already had it in developement.

It is only through a follow-up, they claim its rights forcing excuses on it.

Obviously it is a profitable idea, for them to be on pursuit of it.

 

I don't know what is going on but I think what i'm stating is very fair.

 

They are separate individuals,

and coming up in a separate timeline.

depending on if the authorities appeared or not in that timeline.

Determines their intent.

In Adam's case. Authorities weren't present. Therefore he joined in the mocking, abuse with Anna.

In Mark's case. I have no idea when Adam contacted him. Nor his motives behind it as far as,

my damage spreading. If he chose to do anything about it.
