There certainly will be a sacrifice in its viewing angle.

 

Maybe only the driver should be above the wheel as in placement,

(staying the middle area)

 

While the rest of the passengers enter into the wheel for more safety.

 

 

And if at collision, the driver can slide down further into the shell

for safety.

 

 

But maybe to scratch the entire idea of placing people into the wheels.

 

As they will be moving, swiveling from side to side.

 

 

Or one could simply leave that as an option. A choice to go into the

wheels or stay in the shell area.
