the surface area of the balloons can also accommodate solar. (with lighter material)

 

however, weight/material of these will be different from

traditional turbines/solar panel material (like the paint and solar wiring)

 

if there is a higher payoff,

 

that is in generation of energy vs costs involved.

 

then that could be better than giant singular turbines....
