As part of my chicken/farming/self-sustenance series,
I thought about a quick and painless,
if not somewhat automated way to kill the chicken
individually.
Not in an assembly line.
Apparently they use a metallic 'rectangle cone' that
they stick the neck out, and... kill the chicken with a
knife.
But the blood gets everywhere,
the chicken often gets out of the cone,
so I thought,
1) make it a circular cone.
2) when you see a camera, when it adjusts
its 'aperture'(?) there is a circular mechanism
that is divided in many slides, closes in to
form a smaller or bigger circle. Like the iris
in a person's eye. It changes itself to allow
the amount of light coming in and out of the
lens.
3.) If this mechanism was thicker,
it can hold the chicken inside the cone,
adjusting to the shape and size of the chicken.
which also would hold the neck portion as well.
4.) and the last portion would be like a
sideway guillotine. which can be triggered
when the user is in distance, so not to get
blood over them......
it's a gruesome thing. but this is also
painless for the chicken instead people using
knives.
