Mr Musk, if plastic is thick enough,
and fortified enough, it won't break,
but bend, upon impact,
most likely sending the entire vehicle to
opposite direction or, because of the angles,
and way it is designed (a giant moving wheel
that would topple over itself or go over
another vehicle on impact)
the damage would be greatly reduced.
that is my theory anyway.
ejection slides aren't necessary,
and improbable, seeing the limited space.
but. all of that is nothing, if there is no safety.
once the passengers are slid into the
two large wheels at the front,
it should contract from left and right towards the middle,
if need be.
same with the back.
and leaving a space open for observation, or through the
moving wheel, is another question.
with all these features to address,
..........maybe it's just too much Mr Musk.
