if only the front compartment descends towards the ground

upon impact. and the energy/damage is going towards the

ground. and the 'slide' (to the ground) is a replacement

'wall' that accepts that energy/damage of front.

yes that reasoning makes more sense. essentially,

slide goes down upon impact, and creates a separate

wall for the engines and whatever to crush into,

and because of way it is angled, the damage

itself collapses towards a slope... while there

is separate resistence from following....

hopefully i'm making sense....

if there were rods that suddenly goes into the ground

upon impact, and there are plates in front of these

rods that blocks the damages from the front,

but still 'connected' (or backed up by the rod)

physically, as a wall is behind another wall.

(layers) so the energy is transferred to the rod

(that is now attached to the ground)

ok trying to make more sense of this.

i'm trying to separate. isolate the impact force.

can you give me some money Mr Musk.
