The fact that 'spaceships', as far as coordination and movement(forward)
goes, is not much different from ships floating on water.
What I mean by that is, once you eliminate the issue with the atmosphere,
if the spaceships can be built from zero gravity environment,
you can design any shells and attach thrusters/rockets to make
it move forward.
Hence the designs, be it from an amateur - will be functional.
Of course, since there is no real living person in the spaceship,
and all is operated remotely... by mechanized hands,
no complicated amenities are required as well.
oxygen, etc.
But if they want to simulate the environment as if they
were living in there, they can choose to create many things
to work with the hands.
If to be able to explore the space within comfort/convenience
of your own home....(on Earth)
Going to Mars would be a stretch with this type of creation,
however, since the space escalator will be built,
I assume there will be many space structures/places to go to in the future.
Like.... something like a theme park/sports arena/school or something like that.
And people could send off their avatars.
It's basically "Meta" taken into physical realm, that is the space.
And I suppose VR Meta can support/enhance these ideas in clarity, working as a bridge
between home to space. (Since objects in space are hard to capture, translating it in VR/CAD
first to conceptualize what is there will visualize actionable steps in clarity)
and etc. So then Zuckerberg can invest into my idea later on. If he so willing.
