I can't remember the trigger to formulate all this, but it may have been,

if I can recall,

Jack Black's video on a homeless kid wanting to be adopted and wanting to go with Jack.

He eventually became a construction worker and that was a happy ending.

I believe I formulated it after that or some other inspiration...
