If containers are to be made of metal, as the current cargo containers are,

they can still potentially float, provided there is another compartment for buoyancy.

I hope you all remember my buoyancy cubes interlocking to each other floating

on water, after a skeleton frame was made (which is also buoyancy cubes)

in order to build metal ships. As my wooden ships, after I created the giant interlocking ring saw, which was wrapped around a tree and pulled by wheels of a connecting machine,
which also later I attached a laser to accurately understand where it is about to fall, and the machine following the trajectory of the connecting ring, quickly move out of the way by using its wheels in a circular direction.

When I made that, there were complaints about cutting down trees. So I begin designing metal ships, to make it climate change conscious/saving trees.

So where was I getting at, yeah so technically it is possible to make the metal containers float as well, but the volume to do that takes 2-3 times the material than normal sized containers with pressurized air sent in in that empty compartment perhaps. Not worth it.

Better not to get it slipping off in the first place.

So yeah, unless the ship sinks, the containers won't sink.

It would be impossible to detach from it.

So no need to make it out of plastic and hurt the environment.

The metal ships were way back in the beginning so few starting people would remember.

Which would be elon, Adam, Ms Battles, etc... Anna and the gang...
