Ok here is a major factor for change, uplifting economic development from the fundamental level.
That is providing raw resource to the citizens at cheaper prices.
The control of that, is as follows.
This is the 'philosophy' or rather logic, that I mentioned yesterday in keeping to myself.
Because I want the world to be better, i'm not in it for power.
So that resource comes from how fast and how conveniently extract minerals from your land.
And first we have to understand the principles behind it.
1. You are disassembling a softer component (dirt, rocks) whether it is protruding out from the ground level, or into it. With a harder component (metals and metal alloy) that is designed and shaped in such a way that creates friction with the target and inevitably results into disassembly for processing. And finer the grains of that disassembly, the better it gets to separating extracted minerals to the undesired.
2. So from that simple principle, next we understand that the size of that metal alloy shaped to be in conflict with the softer target, isn't limited to a smaller size. It can be powerful and large as it needs to be. And that power itself is enlargement of what is already existing as technology (motors/engines) that creates the rotation of movement in friction.
3. The component where it is in conflict/friction with the softer target (dirt/rocks) is an consumable. And that must be able to be, detached and removed and replaced, frequently as it is needed.
So how do we compensate that?
Bypass the complicated procedures of working with smaller components and making many of them? As most mining industries use? Which increases manufacturing costs and labor, and while some mining practices like marble quarry for instance, requires precision, aiming to extract everyday metals isn't the matter of precision but powerful disassembly.
So I would use my crucibles inside the space escalator principles. (to create a tower) (remember this?) The crucibles itself could be present, yes, but the blocks themselves can be of material that is like a kiln, combined with electrodes that passes current to increase the temperature within. As long as there is no leakage, mineral elements that is to be mixed within, isn't limited by the size of the interlocking kiln. (and the interlocking crucibles within it, if that is needed as well)
The point is, because it is interlocking, the consumable components in contact with the Earth,
can be as large as it needs to be. And produced rather fast.
If then to simply design the overpowered version of motors and engines that already exists,
to be working with the consumable component. Befitting to that size,
and to be able to maneuver this weight by creating vectors of attachment (slots) for hooks and clamps to lift and descend accordingly. Much like a CNC machine... Which can also follow a long track. No this is improbable as the height and elevation of protruding surface isn't predictable.
However to make it portable without the need for tracks, standalone as to the regional dig...
Giant wheelers moving about and dropping it, as more height is added to the rods that pushes it down incrementally for a deeper dig,
or rotational from shallower surface level creating a circular diameter like diamond mines.

I think using my surface leveler idea (for the ocean floors) which looked like a large disc, where outer layer of that disk is the consumable component that contacts the Earth, (but not with ropes but with solid rods to create more pressure to the push)
any protruding surface above the ground level (like mountains) can be disassembled. Rather quickly.
And once that is leveled, localized digs limited only by the size of the machines can be used to quickly dismantle minerals to be processed.
So those are my principles/approach to mining, which is a determining factor to economic development.
Any designs are acceptable, existing or innovative approach to it, that's not that important.
Importance is in manufacturing method, and in the scaled size of it through that method.
Of which I believe my interlocking principles paves a way for scaled in size, components.
Easy to manufacture in this way and create large industrial machines...
So the prices of minerals to be consumed.. transformed by the user, can be much lessened distributed from the government reserve...
And when that is engine-based, instead motor. My interlocking principles can be fully leveraged with metal casting instead relying on other types of minerals. (As it is mostly metal)
So the component creation, unlimited to its size, simply requires an maneuvering tools for assembly, leveraged by ropes from height, and once it is done, a very powerful force that can disassemble Earth comes into play quite quickly...
And so will the consumable components for it easily replenished.
While you may follow up on my principles at the moment, better than I, latching on to it.
At the fundamental level of creation and conception.
