Seeing Mr Neil Grasse Tyson's relay on how it is physically impossible

for spider-man to climb up a wall with his size,

if he means the space elevator...

if the ropes assisted by machines are too far fetched,

a standalone cylinder within the hollow of the tower,

can draw off energy from the tower itself much like a tram drawing energy from the overhead electric lines,

and move up the tracks with gears. the speed could be a factor but,

i think that could be mechanically compensated...

another method would be magnetic reverse polarity within the hollow of the tower,

and electricty is converted into propulsion.

If at failure mid-flight (within the hollow tower)

safety mechanism to latch onto sides of the tower as it falls...

 

that may work...

 

instead using any chemicals for propulsion...

 

tracks can be added to the raw tower itself, for machines to climb and install electrical panels

that repels reverse magnetic polarity. leaving out two side tracks for tram-like electrical
power lines drawing off energy from the tower for propulsion following.

 

rotating gears, however is the safest... just slower.

two sides (left right) of the cylinder attached gears with inner motors, climbing up the hollow of the tower by its tracks. and other two sides used for tram-like electrical feeding through two tracks from the tower dedicated....

 

but yes... slow....

removing friction and propulsion would be optimal........

if two tracks can be used to simply guide the cylinder, locked in place.

a propeller can lift it straight up, fed by tram electrical connection by independent wiring
fed from two tracks..

but that guideline tracks will need to have some repelling force i guess... friction is bad.

even as it is moving straight up.....

 

anyway, i gotta get some sleep.....
