Reading back, the wildfire pillars, using ceramic materials as in a kiln for pottery, is what gave me the idea. So when I am mentioning this, and of course space escalator itself was confessed by Steve, if it were Steve's idea (it never existed in the past) of course it would have stated it.

Ok. Last night, I said I had an idea. And dozed off.

Using my space escalator/pyramid.

 

In the middle of it, I placed a hole.

 

This hole, this inner core, is created with ceramic materials. Like the wildfire pillars.

 

And, inside its surface will be loaded with wiring.

 

So when crucible is dropped layer by layer,

and many when pieces of metal will be dropped into it,

 

 

When you heat up the wiring like inside a kiln,

 

 

the crucibles will begin melting the metal.

 

Then when you remove the pyramid,

 

all that is left is a giant, long, pole, that is shooting up towards the sky.

 

And from there, because this pole, or pillar, has gear tracks on it,

you can send up materials via an elevator,

 

and build a base that spreads out horizontally, instead vertically, to create a residence, a surface area for people to live in, or to assign a purpose to this surface area.

 

How can this idea be important?

 

Because, 1.

It's not something that is welded. It is whole, on its own. Meaning, structural integrity vs what is welded, depending on the metal that is used = the height can be extreme.

(Could be several kilometers, though this depends on the diameter of the pillar and the metal that is used)

Without worries of it bending or tipping over.

 

2. Surface area that is required at the ground is very small. So it can be allocated anywhere.

Meaning, it can be used as a tower near a city.

Meaning, my original tower for the VOIP concept now can be used near a city, without waste on the land. Meaning = money.

 

3. It can also be used to send better signals to detect illegal immigrants coming into America by the border. In combination with the wall.

 

4. Or as a simple dwelling. A mansion on the sky for the mega-rich.

 

5. Sci-fi uses could be, the space elevator, could potentially be constructed this way,

but 100km of height would require serious diameter and no ordinary metal.

 

6. Anti-missile systems from such height may be useful, and maybe even one day, electromagnetic shields, (force fields) could be used between towers.

 

Could this be a trillion dollar idea?
