I have another idea.
This is coming from mainly 2 things,
my wanting to prospect far into wilderness for gold or natural resource of a kind.
As I am interested in mining.
But I don't have a license. Driver's license.
So one cannot travel on foot.
How can a person perpetuate motion without running out of energy in a vehicle?
I suggested this idea before long long ago I believe.
When I mention the word "biomass gasifier" you would know Mr Musk and others.
So I was thinking, what if you connect a small biomass gasifier that turns organic matter into electricity in a scooter? They already have these in market, as a USB charger I believe.
Put some sticks in there, light it up and it converts that energy into electricity so your devices get charged up.
So yesterday, I saw a relay on Youtube shorts with Joe Rogan talking to someone about, how he has a 40 gallon gas tank land cruiser, and if something happens, LA won't have food so he has a apocalyptic vehicle.
If to combine, EVs with internal biomass gasifiers, that would be much like a BBQ oven embedded within the vehicle so you can't see. But to open a compartment, start a fire using organic matter nearby, recharge the vehicle, clean out the oven, maybe even cook with that energy during, and continue on.
NOT saying of course, to replace the usage of EV with it of course. I mean, if to be travelling to impossible distances, where there are no charging stations, no gas stations. And you just want to keep going. In say, an apocalyptic scenario.
Within cities, people will rely on chargers of course.
But if to travel in distance. Which wouldn't be so often. Wouldn't that perpetuate motion without needing a dependent source.
Wouldn't that be a marketing point/advantage as well?
Or does it sound messy?
I know the whole EV concept is about cleanliness. But people want access and safety as well, and options.
So why I thought this.
Similar designs (clean oven after recharge) can be applied to scooters, electric bikes, dirt bikes, motorcycles, and so forth...
But. Specialized for outdoor vehicles perhaps.
4x4's and what not.
