Do you remember the 'arch' I sent up the tracks of the space escalator?

One could technically use those arches replaced as a base (if they were segements of tunnels) to create quantum lock tunnel,

to, send up a very fast train.

That would be for people. Not material.

 

The 'train', would be a lot like a rocket. In which the passengers would also be prepared

for its speed.

 

Of course this would make it extremely expensive. But just an idea to reduce time to

reach orbit for people.

 

For materials, tracks that is designed to carry heavy loads would  be more useful.

It doesn't need so much speed.
