But what is it stating?

 

That a person is commiting suicide as a zero-sum game?

 

That if he gains money and fame by stealing someone else's idea,

that he'd be given a new life?

Suicidal people cannot be recovered by money or fame alone.

Or even love.

 

They are suicidal because there are no other choice.

It is ABSOLUTE despair.
