First. Even at slow... degradation, the whole point is preserving as much identity as possible and identity is in the patterns of our making. I said this. A single drop of blood holds enough genetic chain to build an an entire person, to recreate the entire person in simulation. (Of which is inevitable, as i've written with GPT my previous answers)

so would then any arrangement or distortion of atoms within the body can be restored information wise following that guideline. But instead re-creating a person from scratch, which then would be cloning, we preserve the atoms in our body. We preserve as much identity as possible. So to have a chance at our restoring ourselves. That is the whole point.

 

These people are aiming to destroy  our rights of existence. Suppressing and deliberately undermining our care for our loved ones and our goals and hopes of reanimation. That itself is attempting murder but specially as many bogus attempts such as posing threat to people by advancing nefarious technologies as Biden so attempted before I believe, (if so, shut down those branches of academia, like medical nanotechnology.
