Chinese authorities should look into what these people are doing at this store.

Through "aliexpress.com" they are selling 4TB NVME SSD's at 45 dollars each.

I bought two of them.

1 frequently fails to detect.

The other detects, but when written files into it, it drops down in speed when it reaches a certain capacity.

I have bought a microSD that behaved this way before as well.

It indicates that lesser capacity was formatted to an large one, and only the stickers were pasted on a different hardware.

It works up to an certain extent, and that is what they were aiming I believe.

The seller keeps re-routing their words to "have you received the product damaged from the shipment?"

When I responded "no" same question was asked again and again, indicating they are aiming for insurance.

While attempting to send another product of the same nature.

Now they don't even allow sending messages to them.

Why China gets bad reputation for knock-off products. You shouldn't have tolerance for these things.

No idea whether the Chinese authorities care to investigate. Their website indicates 88% positive review. 22% is other.

Look into it, if you will.

I can't spend more time on this. What a waste of time, just trying to fix since I bought it.

These people mislead the buyers. They are playing a tricky game.

Detection failure in laptop as well. Until it worked. Then failed again in a desktop through an adapter.

The other one detects, writes to 700mb-400mb/sec speed, but when it reaches about 430GB capacity, it drops to 50mb/sec or so data write up.

Indicating, 4TB is only an label.

So these people are misleading on their products. I have sent the data screenshots of the speed change and hardware failure to them in the chat.

Why I take chances trusting people no idea. Got to stop.
