How it separates if in emergency:

 

1. bottom half will be joints, as if a laptop monitor folds with the bottom,

the two wings will join together as one.

 

2. so then the top joints will be designed to released instantaneously from its

locking mechanism as needed.

 

3. once joined, it may be released from the main cylinder, and working together

possibly to land somewhere, or, be separated by themselves.

 

*probably together is better as one engine can support the other, if one fails.
