Maybe the jet engines on the wings,

they should be vertical propellers,

assisted by large parachutes

once the main core cylinder is detached.

(to take the weight off, so the parachute + propellers can

slowly land to safety) or, not.

 

Just thinking if the main core has issues,

how long people would have until the jet engines

from the wings are active...

 

Maybe, bending the plane itself while turning those

engines on, is a bad idea. No... if the engines are working

it should be okay...... otherwise eject the core

but if yu do that, the entire top shell must be replaced...

why the bend is needed.

 

then what is the correct procedure....

speed in turning those jet engines on.

 

as the wings, even without the engines,

will be gliding i believe...

 

so speed is a factor...

 

unless a second backup layer is present

to cover the ejected space, by a sliding

the point is to have secondary backup engines working

in case of the main core failure.

 

and those engines must be detached and standalone

from the core.
