when it comes to addressing the volume of water that must be vaporized.

 

If the aim is not for human consumption but to make it disappear. XD

 

It would need.... coverage. Surface area is too big, and requires much energy.

 

So materials and energy both may not be worth it. Don't know.

permutations on efficiency.......

 

Proabbly better to create a tunnel network and send it out to the sea

from the high ground, through a pump. XD

 

Yup, 132 billion liters of water vaporized in 3 hours

requires 300 billion KJ of energy, which would be over a billion solar panels. XD

 

even making it efficient.

 

Better to re-route the water into the river, or the sea. Or both, in steps.
