Looking at your X-wing relay Mr Musk.

 

There must be an issue with the design you are having trouble bringing it to reality,

 

my guess is the aerodynamics of it, the volume of it deters speed and requires more power...

 

If it's too 'fat', what you can do is expand the surface area and make it bigger,

so that 'fat' portion is 'hidden' behind the narrow of the edges seamlessly overall.

 

While not going against the rules of aerodynamics....

 

Which means it would have to be very large...

 

It is all relative, proportionate to overall.

 

If that is the issue that is. XD
