On the surface of Mars, protection from radiation is necessary,

hence the type of construction material counts.

Preferably one that of metal. Among other functions,

like a type of mega-shielding surrounding the buildings.

As mentioned before. If the frame is completely metal...

(A type of construction aggregate to be added on top of this frame)

it will not suffer from structural instability of any form,

and it will be flexible... Buildings can be higher or lower,

as it prefers.... And resource on Mars is infinite depending on

where it is based...

But why i'm writing this again. Writing because ---

on Earth, these protective shell is unnecessary.

Compressed earth/dirt, with a type of construction aggregate

is enough for the CNC machines to shape the rooms it require,

and places to insert metal rods + cement in order to stabilize

structures.

Depending on the design, it can provide housing.

Cheaply, and in record time. It need not be a high rise either.

(If it is high-rise, then, metal frame approach is more sensible)

Kind of a flip approach to above.

More metal + less aggregate. (High rise) (Skyscrapers)

More aggregate + Less metal. (Low rise) (Houses)

But to provide very cheap housing... For incoming population...
