What this drawing is suppose to be:

 

Imagine a small boat, (or I guess, a big one)

 

and a pole is attached to it in the middle.

 

Instead the sails, a large lens.

 

This lens is mechanically adapted to

change its angle in all directions.

(It does not have to be a robotic thread)

 

Rather, could be one of those model globe

rotating mechanisms.

 

 

Focused sunglight, then is absorbed through

the circumference of the energy converting

rim.

 

The circular area around the ship is suppose

to be hollow. The rim area connected to the

beams in the diagram is suppose to collect

the energy.

 

That energy is then directly entered into

the motor, so the propellers.

 

When no sunlight present, the pole extends

out a sail.

 

So perpetually in motion, alongside,

waterwheels that will benefit charging

the battery in sail mode.

 

......Ok. This is a horrible design.
