assuming higher altitude mean more wind,

 

 

in a single line lifted by how much one balloon can take,

 

there's be turbines (lighter, plastic shells)

 

lined up vertically.

 

then on top of that balloon, is another line to be lifted,

as much as nother balloon can take, and so on.

 

but the catch here is that these balloons must not

be chemically dependant. but the flame within,

lifting the balloon itself should be powered

by the wind energy, or another ground based

source of electricity connected by a thin wire.

 

advantage? height is not so limited.

no surface area waste. though turbines weaker,

makes up for quantity,

 

and more generation of energy at cheaper cost?

 

just a fun thought, probably not so practical.
