Looking at Mr Musk's 3 ships with the bigger one having the rocket landing pad,
followed by the "fall of constantinople" relay, it triggers me an idea...
...against A.I.
since people are so concerned about the terminator scenario.
of which, i don't think is plausible for a very very long time.
100+ years.
as the rogue A.I will need access to resource and time,
away from human eyes, in production/manufacturing.
even a group of A.I was suddenly changed programming
like in the I, robot scenario, most likely those robots
will not be specifically designed for warfare.
of which then, something that is will be used against it.
and militant droids will be more safe-guarded than the average
robots so.... hmm....
giving A.I 'limbic system' in the physical world will always be controlled,
whether by its material composition or programming,
it will likely go through safety protocals.
it is human beings working with A.I's capability of reasoning,
and access to information, that is the real danger....
however. let's say that it is possible.
suddenly we have a horde of killer robots wanting to take over the world.
somehow humanity is ill-equipped to fight against it,
with our limited agility and response time.
If using my space escalator, one can send infinite (only limited by time)
amount of resource at lowest of costs.
If so.
Missiles. Ready made and launched from orbit. From orbit to atmosphere,
assist of booster. From atmosphere, gravity will let it fall without
the need of fuel. On reaching certain height, Mr Musk's booster technology.
Keep it floating momentarily to find coordinates of the A.I nearby.
Then homing feature activates, tracks, follows toward it.
That tracking, is to find the radio signals the A.I emits,
or some energy signature differing from human beings,
or preset of data that differentiates from other objects
and identifies as target for the missles are needed.
Whether that can be done by highly accurate satellite imaging,
or sensor dedicated rockets fallen to scan the area, don't know.
But once the data is uploaded, the tracking will be done by A.I.
That data will be used to allocate target and found shortest and most convenient
(without obstacles) to reach target.
If then, missile launch system in orbit will always need to follow the rotation of the Earth,
to be locking on the country that needs help....
If satellite then, be able to cover the density, or thickness of the walls as well.
If the A.I is hiding inside a building, the missles,
(which will be 'micro', not rocket sized. Possibly about the length of a person.)
will find the shortest plausible path to it, assigned numbers, and designate each missile
to target instead aiming multiple. so scanning technology would be more important...
.............
100 million missiles against A.I.....
even A.I won't stand a chance.........
XDDDDDDDD
