that may resemble some calculation,

 

if there are no efforts in reducing that

particular type of knowledge.

 

as would reducing knowledge of nuclear weaponry,

 

(but this is far more dangerous as nuclear

weaponry requires rare resource)

 

we are kind of screwed.

 

 

because we haven't reached that level of

effective production of vaccines

in a timely manner.

 

there will always be more casualties than there are

people who could have been saved by it. (elderly for instance)

 

and the level of complexity of the virus

and its lethality as a frankenvirus

 

will increase as the 'skill' increases as well.

 

which, unfortunately, in the wrong hands

not so difficult. probably.

 

 

so. solution:

 

1.) reduce, restrict, restore.

 

2.) by restore i mean find better ways to create vaccines fast.

universal ways. one of them is nanotechnology but

not quite there yet.........

 

3.) hence my previous idea on virus manipulation...

if it helps.... though shapes/patterns of atoms

alone isn't what makes it function.........

if to aim at destruction of other viruses

while it retains a ready-made cure for itself/vaccine...

 

i don't know. my imagination.
