I joke, and suddenly it thinks the lighter mood I have is now an affirmation of its own prejudice on me.

It thinks of me as a fucking clown, and it targets me despite what's been said before.

Its mind works in that moment, sees no reflection of what it has done, no consequences. It will repeat.
