just a thought,
so if the angled (in slope) rod
descends down to the ground,
and the vehicle is being pushed,
friction with the ground
should make it upright....
i think i'm speaking in a very ambiguous way
because i can't see the outcome.
but. ok forget the rod.
on reaching the sensor,
front compartment descends at an angle.
as shown on the drawing.
separating the front to the mid area.
is that mechanically possible, when
the front is being compressed by the other car,
if large portion of the front slides down by itself
upon crashing, yes.
ok now i'm running in circles. xDDDDD
as long as this portion descends and reaches the ground,
and in placement, just empty, air/hollow space.
the front compartment hitting the other car
should began collapsing towards the hollow space,
if it is mechanically biased towards it.
ok this makes more sense.
