on Mr Musk's crash testing relays,

wonder if certain positioning of curvatures of

layers of shield, can direct the impact force downwards to the base instead

somewhat bending the car before it reaches the

passenger area.... like this, i drew on paint.

red represents point where entire front suddenly pushes up

upon impact due to way the layers distribute energy to the bottom.

creating, maybe the entire front becomes the shield (on impact)

maybe it doesn't make sense. xDDDD

ok nevermind moving on.

but if that works, combined with the seat slide ejection idea,

then there is fairly good safety upon impact.

if it bends upwards upon crashing, just before it reaches the passenger area,

and if there is something that reinforced at the joints where it bends,

so that once the front bends, it pushes the vehicle backwards, instead

fighting against the impact force and continue crashing, while the ejection slides

do its thing.  that reinforced component will at the back, just before the passenger

area, so it's not affected much by the impact/fighting against it. if it is strong

enough to resist bending. relatively short, so it won't add much weight

to the car, and there is room for improvement...

of course, like the ejection slide seats,

sensors can work for the front bend,

but ideally, since the sensors may not work fast enough,

if made so that mechanically, energy is dispersed in that way
