and on that same person,

 

there is a small spot around the corner

while waiting in line, that i missed.

 

so he took the chance despite i was

behind that spot. i just didn't recognize

that hidden spot in the curve.

 

so i ask, smiling, as if no big deal,

are you cutting in line? it's ok,

i don't mind taken that spot -

 

and he starts ranting in a malicious

way, "go ahead--- you missed the spot

and I take it --- (can't remember

what he said exactly, but he kept

ranting on, despite me yielding,

as he was elderly)

 

but what ticked me off was two things,

it was clearly bullying, it was very

aggressive, blaming, ranting as he did so.

 

second, that behavior instantly disappeared

and he starts talking in a normal voice

when he was speaking to the cafeteria

person behind the food counter.

 

i told one of the staff there, he tells me

he is someone declining mentally -

he refuses to leave,

and he probably doesn't even remember

whom and how he was speaking to.

 

no, i doubt that. he clearly was bullying

in that instance. so when he repeateadly

kicked my backpack, knowing who it was from,

i immediately sweared.

 

but if he is exaggerating anything there

out of ego, that is an issue.

 

the people here are...... sometimes extremely

short-sighted and petty. they pick a fight with

people out of nothing, or show this particular

behavior of 'dominance' over seemingly weak/smaller.

or their attitude sometimes is that.

all about the ego.

 

i try and avoid as much as possible.
