As far as equipment goes,

all I want is.

 

Something that doesn't transmit radio signals

so it can't be hacked.

 

eReader, PRS-650 couldn't be hacked so....

 

I'm guessing IR and WiFi. (If it doesn't have these features)

 

then it could be possible. Hmph....
