At some point, these doctors/nurses treat so many patients,

they began to see them as numbers and statistics.

 

They can delay, alter their time to help,

for whichever reasons convenient to themselves.

 

They become psychopaths.

 

If they speak about my mom this way.

 

Look at what they are.

How they speak.

 

What they point out in repeat.

 

And how that came to be, doesn't matter.

 

Only the loss, that they are happy about.
